Inconsistent Milk supply

by manjulashiber, Jul 14, 2008 08:19PM
I have realised after I started pumping that milk supply is not consistent on both the sides.  I get 3oz on my left side and 1 to 1.5oz on the right side after pumping for 10minutes, is this normal? and what can be done to increase or to be consistent on both the sides. Sharing your experience is greatly appreciated

very normal. for the first 3 months righty was my milk stud, and lefty the dud. then, after getting mastitis in righty, the roles reversed. not sure if anything can be done to even them out. i guess if it really bothers you you can pump the dud a bit longer to build supply.
