Not sure how much she's getting...

Ok, so I have been giving my baby girl (2) 4oz bottles of expressed milk plus feeding her on demand daily/nightime.  She is 2mos old and weighs @ 10lb 6oz.  She is a terrible sleeper during the day...unless I'm holding her, or put her in the carry sling.  She never seems satisfied for too long, but when I hold her, she just melts in my arms.  I'm assuming she's getting enough to drink, she soaks her diapers and poops throughout the day.  She looks so small to me still!  Compared to her brother when he was 2mos, she's a little peanut...She has thrown up on occassion too (this morning actually) she gets so ravenous at the breast and gulps air and then gets the hiccups, then splat, there goes her breakfast all over me!  I feed her at an incline so she won't throw up, but I think she just has such an undeveloped digestive system yet, so delicate and tiny...anyway!!  Just wanted to vent and hear your thoughts about how much I'm feeding her...her 2 mo dr appt is in a few days, I will speak to her Ped too...It's amazing how much you forget from your previous babies, I thought everything would be the same, or just be easy, when really, every baby is so different...

4 ounces should be enough for a 2 month old. Sounds like she's doing good.

Her digestion should start improving soon. My LC said that after 2 months their digestive tracts start to mature and you'll start noticing changes like less gas, less frequent poops, etc... And can you blame her for liking to be held by Mommy? :) I find that she'll sleep longer out of my arms during the day if she's swaddled or covered snugly by a blanket when in the bouncy seat.
