breastfeeding and period

you can. most women dont get a period till they stop breastfeeding.

You can also get your period when your baby is old enough and reduces the frequency/number of nursing sessions throughout the day.

I have had mine show up lightly twice and my baby is 4 months and I breastfeed exclusively.

My period came back exactly 8 weeks after I gave birth. My little boy is almost 3 1/2 months and I have had 2 periods so far....I'm expecting it will show up again next week! I thought I would get lucky and not have it, but I guess not. My midwife told me it just depends. Most women don't get theirs back for up to a year, while others get them regularly.
