I have a 4month old baby and are still breastfeeding is it bad for me to be smoking marijuana?

Stay away from it while you're nursing. The active chemical in weed gets passed through your breastmilk and your baby consumes it. A newborn baby is much more susceptible to illness than adults, they process things at a much slower rate than we do. It also alters a newborns brain development and would cause them to learn at a slower rate.

Yes, it is bad to do while BF'ing, rule of thumb is whatever you shouldn't do while pregnant, you shouldn't do while BF'ing.
