I don't have enough breastmilk for my baby.how can i get more breast milk.?

Nurse, nurse, nurse. It is extremely rare to not have enough milk, most often it is due to increasing demand that leads moms to doubt the supply. It takes a day or two to catch up, but just keep nursing and avoid adding a bottle if possible as that will only damage the supply further.

My preemie twin daughters are in NICU.  It's been difficult trying to pump to maintain my milk supply.  There's just not enough time, with everything going on right now.  Having gone back to work for a while until l they can come home, and visiting the hospital every night, I'm guilty of not pumping as often as I should.  Sometimes I go 5-6 hours betwen pumping.  I usually get about 3 ounces (1.5 ounce from each breast) at each pumping session.

My question is this,

Once my daughters are home from the hospital and I can actually give them the breast, will I have an adequate milk supply?  Will my supply increase with demand?

In essence, I'm worried that my mild ducts may have become permanently clogged?  Does that happen?

You can definitely increase milk supply with your babies demand once they're home.

No, your milk ducts won't become clogged.  That doesn't happen.
