You should be happy you have lost that much! I unfortunately have fallen in the category of moms whos body has stored fat although I already have plenty of it lol. When you decide to breastfeed they don't tell you that theres a possibility that you will not lose weight. I lost 25lbs by my 6 week checkup, BUT I have only lost 2lbs since then and my baby will be 4 months in 2 weeks. I thought because he is a big eater ((he is 20lbs now!)) that the pounds who melt off, but nope. I do zumba 3 times a week and watch what I eat, but haven't lost any weight. They say some moms don't lose weight until they stop breastfeeding, so ill just have to deal with being chubby for the next 8-12 months lol.
I lost 30 lbs in the first few weeks even though I gained 22 during my pregnancy, sadly most of that has crept back on! I am just in the process of weaning and have noticed I have started loosing about 1/2 lb per week without trying, my appetite has reduced too. I hope to get back to my weight loss program once my daughter is fully weaned.
mommyof2boys2814, I am upset about lossing that much because it put me at a unhealthy weight off only 100 pounds last time I weight that I was like 10 years old. I sorry you having problem lossing the weight you don't wand but that don't mean I still not considered about my own health. Being underwight can case death.
