My son, 8 yrs. old, sprayed Lysol disinfected spray on his face. As a result he has a burn the size of a 50-cent coin, lil pain, but some swellen. Can I treat himat home or seek mediacl attention?

Medical treatment is always a good idea especially with face burns, but few providers have such experience.   With face burns the key really is to keep the area moist or covered.  Typically medications such as bacitracin, collagenase, or gentamycin are used on face burns.  One can even use vasoline with good results.  Do not use the usual antibiotic cream silvadene on the face as it can leave stains.
