nair burn on face

by burnedface, Feb 15, 2008 07:54AM
Yesterday I used Nair on my face, above my face and now have a chemical burn on my face.  I am going on vacation in 2 days and want to know what I can do to make the red burn heal as fast as possible. I don't want everyone staring at me and I don't want a scar. I know this was a dumb thing to do and there won't be miracles in 2 days, but what would be best. Thanks.

Burns to the face are best treated by a simple application of a mild topical antibiotics such as neosporin or bacitracin.  Even vasoline will work well.   Unfortunately, the body will heal at its own rate.
