GOING HOME

                   GOING HOME
On bended knee, she whispered low,
      "I'm weary , Lord, today.
My life and times I used to know
      have faded long away."

"I know," her Savior gently spoke,
      "And you have finished well.
   Thus I have built a home above
Where you may come and dwell."

"So do not wait , My weary one,
      you will no longer roam.
My hand is reaching out to you;
   why not just come on home?"

So, quietly she took His hand
    and softly slipped away
in realms of joy; eternal bliss
    to live that brand new day.
