Hi All

Thanks for starting a group *bevfly*

My question to all the clomid users is:  what were the side effect you have gotten from the drug.

I just took my first pill of my first round last night.  I have feel really good(other then having Bronchitis) I have notice a couple of time I felt hot for a few minutes.  Is that what they call hot flashes?  I assume they would last longer and get all sweaty.

I just started my first round of Clomid last night. I have been ttc for about 1 1/2 years. I have PCOS and am also taking metformin 1000mg/day. The Dr prescribed me prometrium as well and I started my AF the day after my last pill (when I used provera I would sometimes take several days to get AF after last pill) Maybe prometrium is predictable and more trackable.  I am now on CD6 and haven't felt an obvious side effect, but I have a sinking feeling some may be coming... I am really excited to have joined this group and I would love to know how you all are doing nowadays. Lets keep in touch. Anyone around the same CD as me?? I want to know what you are experiencing.

Also...wondering if there is certain day I should expect to O? Since I have PCOS I have never been able to track my AF, so I am completely lost on this!?!

you never know when your gonna start AF after taking a progesterone! How can you say you will be on CD 5 on the 17th?

I am starting my first round of clomid in 2 weeks. I started prometrium yesterday to induce a period and will take that for the next 9 days and I should be on CD 5 on the 17th of december im doing clomid CD5-9. I cant wait. Also if all goes as planned I should ovulated right after christmas! Baby Dust to everyone. And also I have now been on metformin for 2 months.

Hi everyone,

I am now moving onto clomid round 3

Went to OBGYN this morning for my clomid check. We moved it up to 100mg now and added Metformin.

I will be starting provera and metformin tomorrow and then on to the clomid.

Really hope I don't have bad side effects to the 100mg! I was just fine with the 50mg

Hey ladies... I am new to this. I am on my 2nd round of Clomid 50mg CD5-9... today is CD 24. And I am hoping for the best. Would love to have a BFP for Christmas!!
I can't say that I have had really bad side effects... really all I experienced was severe headaches, increased appetite, night sweats/hot flashes (horrible), and breast/nipple tenderness.
Good luck to all of you. Hopefully this will be the last round for all of us.

I started my first dose of Clomid on November 20th. I was taking 50mg. I experienced hot flashes (really bad) and I was an emotional mess. I cried for no reason, and was really down. It was werid. I'm on CD13 and still haven't ovulated, I have a clear blue fertility monitor-and it hasn't moved from the lowest level. Let's hope the next cycle (100mg) works if this doesn't.

I am on my first round of clomid, cd21.  I didn't have any side effects will taking the pill but today started having hot flashes and sweats.  Glad to see that it might be a side effect and not something else :)

i just finished my first round of clomid no symptoms well no i had 1 being up and down emotionally sometime but besides that I am perfect I love clomid :)

Hello!! I am very excited to have found this site, I honestly didn't know anything like this existed and have no one else to talk about this stuff with. I just finished taking provera to jumpstart my cycle as I hadn't had a period since july. I FINALLY started yesterday and get to start taking Clomid in 3 days... I am very nervous about it but I see that itworks for a lot of women. My husband and I have been trying to get preg for 2 1/2 years now and definately think it is time. Please pray that the Clomid works, and once again I am so glad I found this group!!!

Deeply sorry for your loss. Next AF will be my 1st clomid cycle, more I research more Im discouraged, never been pregnant. Best of luck to you, keep your faith, always alternatives

I have been taking clomid since febuary I got preg in may an miscarried in jul! I was 10 weeks I got pg on 4 th round i took it every night to minimise side effects the worded thing for Nevis sweats at night and I put on a stone and half since taking clomid!! I had a month off an now taking clomid again but not sure if it's worked as I'm on cd35!! Still no bfp! Nit sure if I ovulated on day cd25 I always had 30 day cycle so now don't have clue what's going on! Side effects r worth it if it works for you I like to think I was just unfortunate an it won't happen again I don't no how people deal with multiple losses.

Cycle number 3 on clomid and still having horrid side effects.Blurred vision,hot flashes,night sweats,cramping,sore thighs,headache,and feeling lousy in general.Thought it would get easier and side effect wouldnt be so bad but i was wrong.Anyone else had any bad side effects?SSBD xx

I have had no other side effect!  I feel great except for my cough but thats ok!  I did almost blow up on someone but I held it together and walked away!  LOL

Hey hun,yeh a muscle spasm that was pretty sore sounds like you have the same as me.I got a bad headache the first evening after taking my first pill also.Im sure the fact it was broken will be fine.SSBD xx

I did experience a muscle spasm in my right upper thigh that actually was a bit painful.  Is that what you are talking about?


I have only taken 1 pill so far so i figure it may get worse!  

And the pill i took was in a little seperate package, when i opened it, it was broken!  i said OMG and freaked out for a second. then i said screw it and just dumped it in my mouth and washed it down!

Hi ladies,I took the chance to start the group as i thought i would be a great help for all of us using clomid.All the symptoms i had were,Hot Flashes,Nausea,Cramping,Pain in thighs(tight feeling),blurred vision,Shivers,Night sweats,and generally not myself at all.Oh i forgot about memory loss and getting upset or angry very easily.Thats about it maybe just a few headaches every now and again.Phew thats me done.We are all here for each other ladies SSBD bev xx

I am feeling better now.  l could have also be a bit feverish too!  who knows!  I took Clomid at night to bypass any side effects I might get during the day.

I hate taking all these drugs, but I gotta do what I gotta do!
