group for COPD and emphysema adults. Including people who are on home oxygen. We get no real instruction from our doctors about our use of oxygen (when you don't have to be hooked to it); vacationing with your equipment. A forum where we can discuss with others our experiences and share ideas and questions about our breathing problems and how we cope day to day.

What are the main problems those with COPD face?

Hi everyone!

I am a student at St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN) in an undergraduate course supervised by a faculty member who has chosen the topic of oxygen therapy. I am sending this email to gain a greater understanding of the difficulties afflicting those with COPD. I am wondering what the main difficulties of caring for those using oxygen therapy are.
