squamous cell carcinoma

My mother was recently diagnosed qith squamous cell carcinoma of the skin. She has several cancers on her skin. she also has two "cyst" like tumors on her kindeys. Can these two be related. The doctor doing her cancer surgery is a dermatologist and i'm afriad that these cyst are related and he won't do anything about them. The two cyst were found about three months before the skin cancers and the doctor told her they would probably go away. Should they be Biopsied?

The kidney cysts are not related to squamous cell of the skin. You want to make sure that the cysts of the kidney are fluid only.  Please make sure that you consult with a urologist.
