Apocrine metaplasia

Apocrine metaplasia

I am 42 years old and recently had a routine mamogram (mammogram) done which was followed up with a sono mamogram (mammogram) because of dense breasts . This showed presence of cystss and a heterogenous lesion with micro calcifications . So a TRU CUT biopsy was done and the Histology report said " Section showed fragments of breast tissue with ducts as well as stroma . Ducts are round to oval and lined by cuboidal epithelium resting on myoepithelial cell layer. Focal area of apocrine metaplasia is seen . There is no evidence of granulomas, atypia or malignancy in the sections examined.
DIAGNOSIS: Benign breat lesion with apocrine metaplasia"
My mother had breast cancer when she was 61 years old.
Now my oncologist says there is nothing to be done right now but repeat sono - mamograms every 3 months and monitor.
What is your advice ? Should a mamatome be done ?
