Hi,
How are you? What are the symptoms present and what other diagnostic tests done? Increased number of white blood cell or  leukocytosis may be attributed to a variety of issues such as medication side effect, anemia, infectious disease, inflammatory disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis or allergy), leukemia, tissue damage, and even severe emotional or physical stress. If it has been a year already, additional diagnostic tests may need to be done to determine the underlying cause. It is best that you check with your doctor for proper evaluation and direct clinical examination. Take care and do keep us posted.
