Barrett's Esophagus

I was told that eliminating my GERD, caused by a hiatal hernia, would eliminate Barrett's esophagus over time. True?

Yes, treating the GERD CAN eliminate Barrett's Esophagus over time, not always though.

I have GERD myself; related to a HH.  The HH was found by accident; it is a sliding HH.  I have lived with this for about half my life; since age 20.  For the most part, mine is controlled.
