is it normal to wait 6 months to test again for liver leasions and swollen pancreas?
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hi,
How are you? What symptoms are present? Monitoring of certain conditions like liver or pancreas lesions may be every 6 months depending on the symptomatology, initial diagnosis, physical examination and medical history of the patient. This 'watchful waiting' is often done to see if there are changes in the lesions being monitored. It is best that you discuss this with your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and best regards.
