Bladder cancer CT Scan - Please explain in plain english

Waiting to see urologist for last 3 weeks and have been rescheduled to wait another week. Can't make sense out of CT scan results. It reads:

"There isan irregular 1.8cm enhancing mass at the left anterior aspect of the urinary bladder, associated with bladder wall thickening and stranding in the perivesical fat which suggest transmural invasion. This finding is suspicious for bladder neoplasm with transpleural extension. The ureters denomstrate normal course and caliber. No definite evidence of lymphadenopathy or distant metastases."

Male 57. Had blood in urine since April. SFGH prescribed meds for inflamation (inflammation) in June. Blood on and off. More constant blood since October. Tested urine for cancer first week of December. Still don't know how bad this is.

Anyone can explain in plain english what this CT scan is trying to say?
