Blood in the stool

My name is Pedro Silva.
I have some doubts.
In January I started to bleed when I went to the bathroom. However i improved my nutrition, and things improved, I began to go more often to the bathroom, and softer stools. However once in a while I see some blood stains on paper, not noticing me if this or not mixed in the stool. I went to the gastroenterologist, because I also have abdominal discomfort, and he says it should be be IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), however colonescopia was requested just to show if the bleeding is or not a hemorrhoids. I have some fear, however, and did blood tests and blood count with an abdominal x-ray, and everything was ok. The other day I looked at the stool and put a little hydrogen peroxide, and not completely boiled, but I noticed some bubbling, and it scared me. I would appreciate your opinion

Get the colonoscopy, that is the only way you will know. If it is cancer the earlier that find it the better. It is a treatable cancer if found early, so do not wait. My husband had that and the cancer was in his sigmoid and it did not spread any further, they took out the sigmoid and the lymph nodes around it and they showed no signs of cancer. He had an ileostomy for 3 months and then they reversed it and so far doing just fine. Good luck.

Blood never is normal..but i believe that probably is from a hemorrhoid.

I will wiat for the exam, but the blood test was ok, so the blood cannot be aplenty, because it would cause anemia i believe.,

Well, it does not matter if the blood is on the toilet paper and not in the stool or in your stool, this is still abnormal.

I know, i'm waiting for the colonscopy, I'm afraid of being cancer.

I said, that, if the blood was mixed in the stool, probably would not smudge the paper.

My afraid was the hydrogen peroxide on the stool. because i saw a little bubbling...who can be or not normal...

What about the toilet paper?  I don't understand the question.

If wasn't a hemorrhoid probably didn't stains the paper, right?

Did you get the colonoscopy yet? Sounds like hemorrhoids to me.
