Brain Tumor, Radiation side effect?

Brain Tumor, Radiation side effect?

My husband had a Glioblastoma in the brain resected in Feb 1999, followed by 35 days of radiation and a year of chemo. As of August 1 2008, the brain tumor has not come back. However for over the last 5 years his health has been declining with side effects that would expect you to believe that the tumor came back. He has had multiple tests from MRI's, to Pet Scans to spinal fluid tests, etc etc. and we keep getting told he is in great shape.  The tumor was in his right frontal lobe and went in to the right temporal lobe. He had no side effects except slight memory loss after all treatments. Now he is almost paralized on his left side, he can't walk, he has inconstinence, he sees people, he has trouble thinking, talking clearly, he is loosing his appetite, he is loosing weight. And at times he seems perfectly normal to talk to. I need to know what is happening, no one can tell me, the neuro-surgeon  says he look great, that was 8/1/2008, the neurologist, insisted the brain tumor had come back, but in August 2008 sent a letter telling us there was no tumor. I need to know if he is dying, or will he just keep getting more and more disabled. How long will this go on, I have been talking care of him now for 10 years and his health just continues to go downhill, he is now in a hospital bed in the living room, I have a hoist to get him out of bed, but I can't get him in a wheelchair   or to the Doctors, he sleeps all the time, please help me to understand what will happen next, no one seems to be alble to help me. Thank you
