My 6 year old daughter went in for her well child and the doctor was concerned about her enlarged lymphnodes. He had noted they were enlarged at the 5 year check up and they seemed larger to him this year. He ordered a CBC and and I requested a copy faxed to me. He states there are "no significant abnormalities" but in my opinion all abnormalities are significant. Her LYMPH count is 53.3 and her NEUT count is 37.7. She has not been sick at all recently but does tend to have that distended belly (kind of like a toddler tends to have). When we called the doctor's office he refused to discuss the results over the phone and I am incredibly upset. Do I get a 2nd opinion? Do I worry? Do I see a specialist?
