Can doctors tell the difference....?

Hi there I'm getting a CT scan on a hard immovable lump that has been behind my ear for 4 years mainly due to me giving my doctors no choice but what I was wondering is would the radiologist and my own doctor be able to tell the difference between a benign lump such as scar tissue or a calcified cyst or something over a dangerous malignant lump from my CT scans readings?
