Can this spread??? Borderline Mucinous tumor

At the end of this June 2009 I had a 13cm tumor removed along with my appendix, right ovary and uterus. I will get an ultra sound done every 6 months.
The tumor was Borderline Mucinous. My CA1225 was clear but my doctor said it often is with this type of tumor.
I wanted to find out if this can spread to other areas of my body??
I have an upper GI appointment for severe stomach pains and I am terrified of them finding something like a tumor or cancer??
