Cancerous Cells Will Clear Up On Their Own???

Cancerous Cells Will Clear Up On Their Own???

My father-in-law had his gall bladder removed about two weeks ago.  Yesterday he was telling me about his blood work and mentioned that they had found cancerous cells.  He played it off making it sound as though it was no big deal.  He said the nurse told him it was a result of having his gall bladder removed and that as his body adjusted everything would clear up, that this was normal.  Has anyone ever heard of this?  Is this really normal??

Both my husband and I have went through cancer surgery recently.  When my husband was concerned that he really had prostrate cancer he began to do some research and found out everyone has cancer cells in their body, yet not everyone has cancer.  If it was myself, I would get a second oppinion.  I waited with symptoms that I did not want to believe was cancer and it was at stage 3.  By the grace of God he has allowed me to come through this, yet I should have went when I first felt the symptoms  Most likely it could be nothing just as the nurse said, being certain will lesson the stress and stress is a major factor in our health.

Wow, I had no idea that everyone had cancer cells.  That's a relief!!  I sure hope we can convince him to get a second opinion, just to be on the safe side.

Glad to hear you've made it through!!  I've heard it's a very hard road.

Please get a second opinion and get a copy of the pathology report that shows exactly what was wrong with his gallbladder.  My father died of adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder.  It is a very aggressive cancer.
