Compact Proton therapy

The triage attack on cancer, surgery, radiation and chemotherapy could have the radiation section enhanced by using a new compact proton machine. Proton therapy aka charged particle therapy is better then IMRT or IGIMRT (Image guided intensity modulated radiotherapy). The energy is better focused then IMRT. IMRT burns the skin at the rays entrance and burns all the way through the body. Proton therapy has been available for many years but at only a few large facilities. The magnets necessary to bend the protons weight 100's of tons.  The costs would naturally reflect this machine.
