Concern about Airport X-Ray Body Scanner

I need to fly from Southern CA to St. Louis, Missouri next month. But I am concern about the airport x-ray body scanner due to its harmful effects on the body. I am a very health-oriented person. I have taken a good care of my body.
and in good health. What is the best thing that I can do to protect me from the x-ray exposure. I am just a nice woman and I don't want to be treated like a terrorist.

Thanks

Well, there is not much you can do.

TSA doesn't know who you are, so don't take it personally.  They are only following the law as they can't tell who is who just because you appear kind and nice.

If you have no medical reason that would exempt you from being exposed, then you are out of luck.

This is pretty much standard nowadays.
