Could it still be cancer?

In the beginning of December, I had some sort of stomach infection, after it "went away," I continued to have stomach issues (cramps, belching, a change in bowel habits, some loss of appetite). I went to a GI, they did blood tests, including h pylori and c-reactive, as well as a CT scan. All normal and was told IBS. So it's been three months of the symptoms, they still continue. My question is if it was cancer, wouldn't something show up or is it too early for something to show up in these tests? I just find it hard to believe its IBS because not all the symptoms match up.

Have you had any endoscopies done yet, i.e. upper and/or lower endoscopies? If not, then that should be the next step.....you need a scope.
