Crying out for help! Bone cancer

Hello, my mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with bone cancer.
I would like a 2nd opinion on her diagnosis
This is what her diagnoses said:
History:
Diffuse muscular skeletal pain

Findings:
This is a very abnormal study with many areas of abnormal radiotracer uptake- too many to individually describe. The more prominent lesions would be reported.

Impression:
1. Abnormal study. Widespread osseous metastasis in the axial and appendicular skeleton as above.
2. There is an area of moderately increased radiotracer uptake in the right proximal femur. This is concerning for impending pathological fracture.

Keep in mind, she has Multiple Sclerosis (has had ongoing symptoms for about 10+ years) She went in for severe leg pain about 8 months ago, and they did x-rays. They saw lesions, but wrote them off as M.S. lesions. And they also told her that she has bursitis, and just prescribed pain meds. The pain has been ongoing, and so increasingly bad, she went back again (couple weeks ago) At this time they did bloodwork (which showed sky rocketed alkaline phosphate) and they did an MRI. And this is what it showed. If they would have looked further into this months ago when she initially went in, maybe they could have done more about it. I am under the impression at this point, that this is so far advanced they cant do much about it.

She is scheduled for a biopsy in two weeks from now,

I went back in the room with the doctor after everyone had left, and he told me he gives her 6 months at the most

Needless to say, I would like to have a second opinion. I want her to go to a doctor that specializes in this type of (bone) cancer. I am willing to do anything possible. She worked at kaiser for 25 some years, and that is who her insurance is through. Although, we spoke to her doctor, and he is willing to refer her to anyone we request. But Kaiser evidently only pays for/covers doctors and hospitals inside their "network". I want her to go the best, and be in the hands of someone who specializes in what she has.

I would GREATLY appreciate any and all advice, recommendations, questions, etc that you may have to give us.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible

Thank you so much for your time
