Dark Discharge a few months after Cold Knife Cone Biopsy

I had a cold-knife cone biopsy a few months ago.  My post-op checkup was good.  The dark discharge and "scab" was normal then.  It all went back to normal-well my kind of normal since I have reproductive issues.  Now, the dark discharge has been happening daily for a little over a week.  I am on low dose birth control to regulate issues with my ovaries.  I thought it was the pill since taking it just a two hours late one night can cause break-through bleeding, but this is not "bleeding".  Is there another scab?  Or is this something else?  After having cancer come back to this area already...I am worried.
