Dilated Pancreas Tail Could It Be Cancer?

Hi i was told that my mri showed a dilated pancreas tail ..I have to go for further testing but its two months away from now..Im curious as to what could make the tail dilate..Any answer would be great good or bad im all ears Thanks

Here is a list of my symptoms i have had for the past 4 years and also newer ones aswell

Frequent Bowels
Pain right after eating
Weight loss I cant gain im currently 91lbs at 24yrs old
Headaches

Newer symptoms

Pain right under my left ribs that spread to the back
Pain in upper stomach
Lost interest in food
Cant sleep on either side or back

A dilated pancreas tail is not a good thing; the probability of this being cancer is high unfortunately.

Thank you very much londres..I have to wait for 2 months for an endoscopy ultrasound to find out what it is..But theres no way i can wait that long im in pain constant and i feel the longer they take to do the test the worse the problem will end up..Should i just go the hospital or wait it out?

Go to the hospital if the workup is going to be quicker for you, especially if your pain is unbearable.  That would be my recommendation.  

Don't wait around at home and let the pain get worse.
