Do you think this is cancer?

Hi I am a 16 year old white male. About 2-3 weeks ago I discovered a lymph node under my jaw. It seemed quite small (about 1cm). It is non-tender, firm and movable. Being a Hypochondriac I made an appoitment the next day and the doctor had a look at it. He said it was probably just caused by the combination of having severe acne and sinus infection. He scheduled a blood test for me that he said tested for CBC (Complete Blood Count), Liver function and Kidney function because he wanted me to go on acne medication that required these tests (Isotretinoin). He also gave me some antibiotics to clear up sinus. I asked him if he thought this might be lymphoma and he said it is very unlikely since I have an obvious infection on my face (severe acne) plus the fact I have sinus infection. About 2 days later the blood test results came back everything normal. So I made an appointment with my dermatologist to start me of Isotretinoin. I also asked him on his opinion on the lymph node he said same thing that it was caused by acne. About a week later I finished my antibiotics and started on the Isotretinoin. My lymph node isn't getting any bigger infact I think it is getting smaller. Is this a good thing? I am always feeling it but I read this could irritate it and stop it from going down but being a hypochondriac it is hard not to constantly feel it. Doctor said the lymph node should start to go down once the acne start to clear and he said it could take a couple of months to notice a change. Do you think my doctor is right or should I get a Fine Needle Biopsy or other biopsy done? Please reply

Thanks

Hi your wish came true - I asked my parents to feel it today just like what they did 3 weeks a go and they said that they were significantly smaller. I guess the antibiotics or whatever else (acne medication?) helped. Thanks for your reply anyway :)

Thanks
