Does Anyone talk on the Cancer site

Well I have wrote about 5 times to the Cancer Site here and I have gotten little to no Reply and I guess I don't understand why. So asking something else but still need to help with it...So does anyone else have pains after Chemo is over and do you have hard time Sleeping and thinking at times and just you know not your self yet and how long does this go on......

Most side effects slowly go away after treatment ends because the healthy cells recover over time. The time it takes to get over some side effects and regain energy varies from person to person and depends on many factors, including your overall health and the drugs you were given.

Many side effects go away fairly quickly, but some may take months or years to completely go away. Sometimes the side effects can last a lifetime, such as when chemo causes long-term damage to the heart, lungs, kidneys, or reproductive organs. Certain types of chemo sometimes cause delayed effects, such as a second cancer that may show up many years later.

Hope this helps.  Good Luck and God Bless.

Patients often become discouraged about how long their treatment lasts or the side effects they have. If you feel this way, talk to your doctor. You may be able to change your medicine or treatment schedule. If needed, your doctor should be able to suggest ways to reduce any pain and discomfort you have.

First off thank you for writing and giving me some  hope to talk to someone in this Area. I am off Chemo now and this is my 2nd time on this chemo well and my 2nd time having Melanoma. Year long treatment is what it is but the Doctor acts like it should all be out of my system now. Took me years to feel better from the last time in 02 that I was on it off in 03 and then I just got done  with it from 09 to 10 and of course I'm older now.  Well I don't mean to talk your ear off...Thanks for talking to me

I am by far not an expert in the cancer field but I try to help when I can.  My sister passed away May 13, 2009 from Stage IV colo-rectal cancer so I am trying to educate myself on cancer causes, cures, etc.  Glad I could help although it wasn't much.  Good luck to you.  I will say a prayer for you.
