Does a finding of an abnormal fold in the lesser curvature of the stomach usally mean cancer?

I had an upper endoscopy and dilation done this week because of many stomach problems....(bloating, distended stomach, feeling full without eating much, upper stomach pain, I have GERD, swallowing is getting difficult, gastritis, weight gain, medium hiatal hernia). I also had my gallbladder out 2 years ago.  A CT scan was done last week on my abdomen and pelvic area and all that came up with that was cysts on my ovarys. Which scares me also because of ovarian cancer. Followed up with a sonogram and said one on each ovary very small. The GASTRO DR. didn't seem to concerned with the cysts? I will have to follow up with a GYN DR.... I am premenapauseal.  Nothing showed about the stomach? Is that odd or not?? The endoscopy results were an ABNORMAL THICKENED FOLD in the lesser curvature and NODULARITY in the gastroesophageal junction compatible with esophagitis. Now does ABNORMAL usally end up being CANCER???? Dr. did biopsy both the nodules in the esophagus and the THICKENED FOLD. She said 2 weeks for results!!! It's gonna be the longest 2 weeks I've ever had!! Has anyone here know anything about abnormal looking folds in the stomach or had this?? If it is an ulcer I would think the Dr. would have suggested that but she didn't?? So I am scared to death!! Thanks for listening.......:)
