Fuda Cancer Hospital in China - Searching for feedback/information

Hello,

My mother has been battling with Leiomyosarcoma of the pelvis for 2 years now. When she was first diagnosed she had a 4 lb tumor taken out of her abdomen. Her first CT was clear 3 months later. Her 2nd CT showed 2 tumors that the doctors were expecting to just “scope” and remove, but by the time they got to them they were both too large and she had to have another abdominal surgery.

Since then, doctors have refused to do surgery on her. She has already been to a specialist at UCLA Sarcoma Oncology Program. She has been through multiple rounds of chemotherapy with limited results and significant havoc on her body – Spending almost 6 weeks in the hospital. She has just completed 19 of 25 rounds of radiation and could not continue, due to the effect on her kidneys.

Right now we are considering going to China and the FUDA Cancer Hospital. We have been told that there are limited resources in fighting rare cancers like Leiomyosarcoma due to government red tape and FDA restrictions. Therefore, if anyone has ANY information or specific experiences with Fuda Cancer Hospital in China (orienttumor *******), that information would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

We have already sent her medical information and we are waiting to hear back from their board of doctors; however, any information regarding care, treatment success, etc . would assist greatly in determining if we should go to China for additional treatment/methods or if she should remain in the USA and go into hospice in the near future.

Many Thanks,
David
