Hereitary Hemochromatosis

A single copy of S65C was identified. My results for C282Y and H63D were negative. My Ferritin, Serum was 266, my Iron Bind. Cap (TIBC) was 281, UIBC was 137, Iron Serum was 144 and my Iron Saturation was a 51. My doctor is sending me in to get a Liver Biopsy and this freaks me out a little. He says I have too much Iron in my Blood which by the way was just detected because my previous blood test were okay. Am I at that stage that this Biopsy needs to be done. I'm thinking of getting a second opinion although I think my Doctor is great he doesnt specialize in this. Can anyone shed any light/ Thanks
