I am 19 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS 6 years ago. I was taking both metformin and spironalactone up until a year ago, and am now taking just the spironalactone. I was tested a short while ago and my DHEA level was 1400 and my testosterone was also high. My doctor confirmed that I have PCOS but also said it was imperative that I have a CAT scan to check for adrenal tumors. So I can at least calm down for the next few days, I would like to know the likelihood that I have adrenal cancer. Has anyone else had this high of a DHEA level and was found NOT to have cancer?
