I hope you have some answers. The same thing happened to me....went from a size 10 down to a size 2 in about 30 days or less....not trying to lose weight. I knew something was wrong.
Please be very insistent with your dr for answers. If you don't get them, get a 2nd opinion. There has to be a reason for your symptoms.
Oops I see I mentioned it above but I just had more bloodwork and it's the same and another MRI a few days ago.
P.s. If a doctor sees this, my MRI still shows that edema. Also, it shows a few other small things I guess could cause pain. Anyway, my platelets are back up still and my Lymph numbers dropped to 14 they have always been on the 28 - 30 number. Does that make any difference?
I am not sure if this will still be seen but I want to add that my latest bloodwork shows some odd numbers that are way up or way down from what they usually are. My lymph# are very low compared to being very high (I don't have them in front of me). My platelets are high still. Some of my other numbers are off too. I don't like getting on the Internet to see what is wrong but I did and my weight keeps going down for no reason that is apparent.
My doctor didn't say anything about my spike in my platelets until I brought it up and then he said yes that was a bit concerning. Should I bring my results up to him again? I don't feel well and my husband has said how strange it is that my weight has dropped so fast and he is worried about me. I am in pain as well. My MRI still shows the bone marrow edema again too.
How can I get them to look into it further before something happens to me and I get worse? I am nauseated and my migraines have increased.
P.s. I have a ton more symptoms that range from sweating badly at night where my clothes need changed, migraines (I've always had those though), nausea, tired, insomnia, dizzy, feeling sick all together not right, the huge loss of weight , vision problems and a ton more.
