my husband, 68 has 25x13.6x11.2 cm tumor. his AFP is somewhere over 65,000. (sixty-five thousand) that has led to the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, HCC. Yes, he was a heavy drinker. he has spots all over his lungs which they believe to be metastases. loss of appetite, bloated feeling, nausea, pain, and itching all over. he seems to be yellowing a bit and just looking emaciated.
i would like a more specific idea about how much time he has left. i would really like to get a handle on this. i haven't been able to find information on a tumor that size or AFP level that high. i imagine there's a correlation between the two and a way to do some calculations. i just would like an objective idea of how much time he has left.
