I HAVE abnormal cervical cellS

I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE CAUGHT THE HPV VIRSUE FROM A BOYFRIEND AND I HAVE HAD IT 4 BOUT A YEAR KNOW .I WENT 2 DOCTOR FOR CHECK UP AND AT FIRST IT WASNT SO BAD FROM SCALE 1-10 I WAS A 1.5 BUT KNOW I HAD 2 GET SURGEY 2 REMOVE THE WARTS SO AFTER THAT I AM DOING WELL NO SIGNS OF THE WARTS BUT LIKE 8 MONTHS LATER I FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE A abnormal cervical cellS BUT I DONT HAVE CERVICAL CANCER . SO I HAVE 2 GO IN FOR A CHECKUP AND TREATMENT FOR THE abnormal cervical cellS . AFTER I FINISH MY TREATMENT , WILL I STILL BE ABLE 2 HAVE CHILDREN ?

Are you having cryosurgery to freez the abnormal cells?  If so I had the procedure done 10 years ago and I have a two year old and one on the way!  I'm sure you will be able to conceive

I also have abnormal cervical cells. I have had 3 leep procedures. My family is complete, so I do not want any more children, but my doctor informed me that if I change my mind, I can still have children!! I am guessing that you would still be able to have children!
(FYI ~ A Leep procedure is when they actually put you to sleep & go in & shave your cervix. Incase you weren't sure!)

iam a 32 year old female...can you get HPV from oral sex? how? i had a brief sexual intercourse experience about 5 years ago (penetration i guess you say) -once -if I had warts would i know at this point????

yes, you can get hpv from oral sex!

It depends on the treatment, many of the treatments don't affect future fertility.  Ask your doc.

To michellemybelle, you need to get PAP smears to see if you have HPV or cervical cancer, go ask your doc.

i would think you could have kids because I was 71/2 months pregnant and had abnormal cells and I had a colposcopy done and when I was 3 months pregnant with my daughter I also had abnormal cells

I am having really bad pain there too and my friend said it was Cervical Cancer. I dont know about the baby thing but i can relate with the transmitted from a guy type thing. I wasnt hurting before i was with my nw ex byfriend, and ever since then (a year ago) I've been hurting really bad and it just gets worse. A scale from one to ten....I always start out at 5 then move my way up.....it hurts really bad....and he just doenst care...

i had cin3 stage when i was 17yrs old and had cone biopsy and dithermy with monthly biops for the first 6 months after and then normal smears every 6 months its been 18 years now and i have 1yr smears and i have 4 beautiful kids naturally the oldest is 16 and youngest is 1yr so keep your head high and look forward to the future.

i've just had my frist cin3 leep procedure but have been told that i can still have kids- there may be a few tiny anomalies but they're easilt sorted by all accounts.

just waiting on the results - i'm not totally clear about what happens next though - do i need more of the same? am i now due for 6mthly smears? will i need mthly check ups? do these interefre with your sex life as much as the leep?

dying to get back to the gym/swim etc ;oP!!
