I am 32 female, and I have just been diagnosed with multiple myeloma
I do not have any of the "causes" and it is all very shocking still. I presented with nerve problems, but not bone pains. I had night sweats and a very elevated protein level. My biggest issue seems to be very low hemoglobin causing fainting spells. Bone marrow biopsy was positive. I am looking for any other young people that have this diseases. Most of the infor on the nternet is grave and pretty scary. I am very young to have this I am told, and that it is also quite rare. I have started valcade and dex and will be having a stem cell transplant asap. My doctors are treating it very agressively because of my age.
