Hi there!

Chromogranin A is a neuroendocrine protein secreted by the adrenal medulla, pancreas, paraganglia and enterochromaffin like cells. High values can be seen in diabetes, phaechromocytomas, pancreatic and prostatic cancer and in carcinoid syndrome. It would be best to discuss the test result, the likely possibilities and the management in detail with your treating doctor.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
