Is it or Isn't it Lung Cancer

Went to Dr. for psorasis problem, fron there sent to infectious disease who heard wheezing in chest.  Off we go to Cat Scan, during the course of all this psorasis getting progressively worse.  Ok blood test blood in urine, led to urologist and biopsy, no bladder cancer.  Now onto lung mass, My concern is no seems to know if Cancer or Not, meanwhile already scheduled for Lung surgery in October.  Broncoscopy done no results, Anyone have any insight for me, I am at a loss since they can not decide if it is or isn't.  Any input would be appreciated.

I am sort of in the same boat I just had my 3 yr check up for IDC to left breast that was ER/PR - but HER2+++ and I thought everything was fine which it is with the breast. But I developed a cough that won't go away and he did another lung Xray and called back advised small spot on lung he thinks is additional scar tissue from chemo(I had bad reaction to taxol/taxotere was only able to complete 11/12 infusions due to lung damage and 29% drop in blood oxygen levels causing me to be on oxygen for several months to return to normal.) Or it could be nodule(not sure if mets or new cancer)Anyway he will do another xray in 2 months to see if any change and further testing. Needless to say I am terrified to be facing this again and dealing with it again during the holidays. I don't guess their is anything I can do until Jan but pray and I will add you and Linda560 to my prayers also.  Good Luck and God Bless.

I don't have any insight but I will be watching to see if anyone else does because I'm in a similar boat only not as extensive as you.   There is a spot on my lung very small that  I get a scan for every 6 months - they say it's not big enough to biospy and probably is nothing, but my mom and husband both just passed away within the last year and a half - one from lung cancer - one from metastic cancer so I am overly concerned.   Good luck to you and I will pray for you.
