I am a 31 year old female. I do not know my family history. I have been having bowel problems for the last 4 years. It started with occasional blood in my stool. It has progresses to intermittent blood in stool, abdominal pain, lower back pain, alternate between diarrhea and constipation almost daily, fatty or greasy stools at times, feelings like I can’t empty my bowels complete and thin, skinny looking stools. I finally saw my PCP who recommended a CT scan of the abdomen. The CT scan was normal other than an unrelated ovarian cyst and a 0.6cm lesion on the left lower lobe of my liver. I do not see a gastroenterologist for two weeks. All the research I have done points to colon cancer and with a lesion on my liver that could represent malignancy. I am super worried and may be freaking out prematurely. Could these symptoms be anything else??? Everything I read says Cancer.
