Leukemia?

Leukemia?

Hello. Any advice would be appreciated.  I have my doctors appointment tonight but am so worried. Ive been having the following symptoms and am afraid it could be leukemia...night sweats so bad that my fiance thinks i took a shower, hot flashes, extreme fatigue to the point where if i had the choice i could sleep all day, unexplained brusing. I had a bleeding time test and it took 12 1/2 min for my blood to clot when it should be under 10 (ive never been anemic.) I have tiny tiny broken capilaries under my skin and have been getting bad cramps in my legs, swelling in my feet, bad headaches and dizzyness. My shins (the actual bone) has been hurting as well as my ribs and i have a swollen spleen. I'm getting really worried and have a two year-old to take care of. I just want to know whats wrong. I am going to the doctor but anyone who can help please do!

thank you thank you thank you

Hi.  The symptoms you have described are too non-specific to definitely point to leukemia as the cause.  Leukemia is diagnosed by detecting the presence of abnormal white blood cells (atypical cells or blasts) in the peripheral blood smear or the bone marrow aspirate.  I can understand your anxiety over  the symptoms you're presently feeling, but speculating at this time only adds to your fears and does not help.  Just have yourself examined by a doctor at the soonest possible time, so you can be properly diagnosed and treated.
