Low White Blood Cell Count

Low White Blood Cell Count

Hello,
On the 24th of August I found my white blood cell count was 2.3 and also mild anemia. This was after going to the hospital after feeling tingling sensation along my back, legs, and hands. At the time I was also donating plasma (I donated about 4 times). After donating plasma,my 4th, donation I noticed that the arm I donated with had a red mark along the puncture site. The following day, I noticed red marks all along my forearm area. When I asked them I was told it was either a bad stick or I may have accidentally pumped my arm when the machine was returning blood. The key thing I noticed was that the tingling sensations symptoms started around the same time I noticed problems after donating plasma. Now, after eating well, as I hadn't been eating well before, I noticed that tingling sensations have decreased. They seem to come back though when I am stressed, but still for the most part not as much as before. Also, these last few days I had tingling along my face and top side of my head (in the same spot). I am scheduled to have my blood work done again on the 23rd of this month. My question is it likely will my wbc count will have gone up entirely on its own? Also, should I be worried about serious disease such as leukemia and other blood cancers? Also should I get a cat/mri scan, despite the fact that the tingling has gone down, for the tingling as I have heard tingling sensations indicate a neurological problem.

Don't let your mind race ahead of you. That will drive you crazy. Just do the tests the doctors have ordered, and hopefully you will get results soon. Good luck!
