hmm, I have also been noticing some minor cramps in my stomach (although not for a few weeks now) and pain in my joints that comes and goes (most days none but today my elbows hurt when I stretch them), also my ankles are a bit tender and always feel like hairs are being yanked out. does anyone know if all this could be linked to anything? I dont do much exercise and I have been eating ALOT of junk food for a good while now, in the last two months I have put on 10-15 pounds. could this have anything to do with these problems? If the lymph node infection thing is correct would it make sense that it has been going on for over a month?
Thanks again for your help.
With any kind of lump that comes and goes, you should get it looked at regardless. It's actually not uncommon for a bleed to begin with obstructions on or directly around the anus. It's in a sensitive part of the body that has skin constantly stretching. If you've been ill you may be experiencing swollen lymph glands. Though you may not feel sick, lymph glands swell when your body fights any kind of infection or virus when it comes under attack by an outside body. Until you can see your doctor, use an antibiotic ointment like Kenacomb or Neosporin. Avoid contact with the troubled areas of sensitivity if possible. Use a warm, very clean compress on the area to assist the skin around it only after cleaning the area thoroughly.
Hope this helped.
thanks for the quick response. I cant see my doctor untill next week :(
Get to the doc as soon as possible!! It could be nothing but my sister (now deceased) had the lump in her anus and it turned out to be Stage IV rectal cancer. The tumor spread to other organs and she passed away last year. She was 53. If she had gotten a colonoscopy done she might be alive today. Don't let me scare you but get it checked out ASAP!!!! Good Luck!
