Lump on Head

Hello. I have recently found a small hard lump on the back of my 5 year old son's head on the left hand side. It is approx 1cm in diameter. Hes perfectly fine but the lump is very noticeable. What could this be? Thanks in advance

Could be a small noncancerous cyst. I have had one like that for years.

Doesnt hurt to ask a Dr though. But my Dr wasnt concerned at all with mine.

Hi,

It's so easy to get it checked out and confirm if it is harmless or not, that I would have your doctor look at it. It is probably completely safe, but with skin cancer, it's all about detecting it early. I found mine completely by accident, and was able to catch it very early, and removed it and everything is fine. If I don't get it checked when I did, it would have been a whole different story.
