History of Disease and Treatment:

11/1/2009: Initial Onset of the Presentation of Cushing’s Syndrome.  Not formally diagnosed until April 2010.

4/13/2010: Formal Diagnosis of Stage IV Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) in 30 year old patient with Cushing’s Syndrome

4/26/2010: Right adrenalectomy, removal of 20% of liver, removal of 3 lymph nodes from Duke University Hospital.  Scans indicated No Evidence of Disease post-op.

11/11/2010- 1/13/2011: Mitotane drug therapy

3/12/2011: Angiogram at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill: abdominal aortogram, selective tumor embolization, right renal arteriogram, selective right lumbar arteriograms

3/16/2011: Began Clinical trial OSI-906 at Duke University Hospital with sponsoring agent OSI pharmaceuticals


Patient Objective:

1.      Surgical review of images and radiology reports with opinion.

2.      A surgical debulking of tumor mass in abdomen, liver, and adrenal bed.

3.      A review of clinical trial options and experimental options for advanced aggressive cancers.
