PET Scan Results
I'm trying to find any information on what this means "increasing hypermetabolism within two nonspecific left parotid gland nodules" My Sister has Stage 4B Ovarian Cancer and just had her PET scan repeated after finishing a round of Chemo. The Doctor seems pleased with the results and went over them with us, but I'm trying to compare the original with the current PET and this is the only "new" thing to show up.
