Pleural Effusion

Im 15 years old, and smoke both cigarettes and marijuana. lately ive felt that my lungs are surrounded in water, and my throat closes up, is this dangerous? and if so what can i do to cure/stop this from happening?

Hi.  You should have yourself evaluated by a doctor to see if your symptoms indicate any potentially serious condition.  The fact that you're feeling as though your lungs are "surrounded by water" doesn't necessarily mean that this is what is happening.  For now, you can do yourself a big favor by stopping cigarette smoking.  This habit, if continued, will surely lead to complications like cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease later in life.  So quit while you're still ahead.
