Polycystic ovaries

Through “all experts web” I have come to know that you are an expert and reply properly. So I hope that you will suggest me. My wife (28 years old) is facing some problems.
1. Her period is irregular. Some time after 40 days, some time after 35 time and some time normal. It is since 10 years. We married just one year ago. Till now her mesenteric cycle is irregular.
2. Then she consulted with doctor and the ultra sound report is below “liver, gall bladder, spleen and kidneys are normal. Normal Ante-verted uterus. No uterine mass seen.
Right ovary size 3.8*2.6 cm
Left ovary size   5.0* 2.5 cm
Both ovaries are enlarged in size. Show multiple small sized cyst.

This was the ultra sound report as such. Please suggest me that what should we do. Is it better to take medicine (doctor also said that there are water pockets in ovaries and eggs are not producing).
After treatment it will be ok? (after taking medicine, can we have baby?)
